Kim Kardashian and baby daddy Kanye West set to split?

MediaTakeOut.com just got word this morning that a major news publication will shortly be reporting that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have split! According to our snitch, the pub reportedly has a high level snitch who is saying that the pair has agreed to split - but are not going to announce anything until after this season of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, and after the Kanye's album release this summer.

The word is that he couple is scared of all the bad press that they'd receive if they split so soon. As for the "baby" . . . we'll see what happens.

I don't necessarily believe this but here's more. Kanye is on a self imposed exile in Paris...so while Kim is pregnant, they live in different continents. Also, on Easter Monday Kim Kardashian took an 11 hour flight to visit Kanye in Paris. They were photographed on several outings with sour faces each time. Two days later, she was back in the US.

Also, in a recent interview while promoting Tyler Perry's Temptation, Kim talked about her pregnancy and described herself as being alone. Plus, they were supposed to move in together in February, but Kanye later put the house they bought up for sale and moved to Paris. I hope we are all just reading too much meaning into what's going on between them. I hope they make it.

Iyanya talks about his parents and brothers death

In a recent interview with Nigerian films.com. The singer revealed that It’s a good thing to be happy and be wealthy but another thing totally to see those who you love to share in your happiness. Handsome Iyanya who has become an enigma in Nigeria’s entertainment scene today said he lost his parents mysteriously. Though, he reluctantly revealed to this office that it was a spiritual attack that claimed the lives of the people he loved most in his life. 

I am thankful, because I know they are somewhere better and they left a whole lots of things for me. My late mum made me realize that there is nothing really in this world than just being a good person. I have been trying to live with that, even though I can’t please everybody.

My Dad also taught me to be responsible for every action I take as an adult. I am just living with what they left for me. I mean, their prayers and words still linger. 

``My parents are late now. May their souls rest in peace, I grew up with them and I got 100 percent love from them. They died in 2008, before my Project Fame exploit. It’s a long story to go into how they died; I don’t want to talk about it. My mum died at the age of 42 and my dad died at 50. 

I know their death came too early and it happened in ways I don’t like to talk about. It’s not a thing that makes me happy. But it’s a lesson for me now. I am trying to live a good life. 

My parents are not the only people I have lost; I have also lost my elder brother, who died recently as well. He had an accident as a kid and since then we had been battling with it, but he died recently. He died the same period my parents did. It’s so painful but I have to move on,’’ he said.

Jay Z has launched Roc Nation Sports, a full-service sports management company and has signed Yankees star Robinson Cano as its first client. Roc Nation Sports will be led by Jay Z with Juan Perez serving as president. They have partnered with CAA Sports, a division of Creative Artists Agency to co-represent the All-Star second baseman.

“Because of my love of sports, it was a natural progression to form a company where we can help top athletes in various sports the same way we have been helping artists in the music industry for years,” Jay-Z said.

When you released that album there was something a lot of people noticed?
Let me tell you that Wizkid wasn’t on the album. First of all, I want to say that what we like to call ‘Bad Belle People’ because they think there may be bad news and when you don’t give them that news they start to create it because I guess bad news sells more than good news. So I want to say categorically that there was no twitter fight. People go on-line and use Photoshop to create my profile and say that I said this and then they go and create Wizkid’s profile and say he said this.

The bottom line is first of all, that never happened and what happened is that we’ve been working on Wizzy’s project to make it work internationally and when you are getting to that level things change. He has his own idea of what he wants to do and we are in 100 percent in support of that and these are things that we dreamed of back in 2009 when I signed him. I felt like this guy can blow all over the world, this guy can you know really be a star and now that it has happened it is a good thing. There is a disturbing London angle he wants to take and so on and so forth and there is a contract in place and he is still signed to EME.

So he is still signed to EME?
Absolutely he is still signed to EME.

Because the general believe is that he started his own thing, ‘Star Boy entertainment.’
Well, you know that is something else he wants to do. He wants to start his record label and I mean I started my own label and look where I am today. You have a lot of people fabricating stuff and trying to make it feel like there is a battle and you know we don’t believe in that. We are all mature, we are all grown up people and we are all happy for one another.

You know he is starting his label and we are in support of that, he is going internationally and working with Disturbing London, and we are in support of that. There is still the Konvict Music angle which we also orchestrated so I guess we can call it restructuring but we are all on the table negotiating and figuring out the best way to make the project move forward. There is no beef, Wiz is absolutely a part of the family legally, he is still signed even aside from contract somethings are bigger than contract and money. EME and Wiz will continue.

It is just that we are figuring out the terms and the reason he is not on the album and in fact he had worked on some one or two things that were supposed to be on the album but in the interest of kind of respecting the conversation that we were having, you know what let’s figure out where we are going and how we are going to do his next level stuff. So we decided as a group to suspend the music that we worked on together just for now till we figure out all of that. We are almost at the conclusion will that. He is absolutely and will always be a part of the family. I mean we created history, this is somebody whose debut album took the whole country, the continent by storm and you know we all worked on that, so it is a good thing not a bad thing, growth is good so that is really the long and short of it.

How does it work for him to have star boy entertainment and still be a part of EME?
I would give you a fantastic example, Kanye West has “Good Music” and he is still with Rock Nation, Rockafella that is all I am going to say about it. There is no beef, no war. One day I woke up and I saw on twitter that somebody has used Photoshop to make my profile and said some random things and used some terrible English that I have never used in my life it just unfortunate that as far as we have come as an industry there are still some people in the media and I want to give credit to guys like City People.

You guys never took that route and I respect you people for that because some other blogs and sites started creating things out of thin air to cause a problem. We are working and we are all trying to achieve our dreams and hopefully taking this movement to another level. I have never said anything negative about Wiz, and Wiz has never said anything negative about me publicly and let’s just accept and leave it like that. Wiz will continue to be successful, EME will continue to be successful. Let’s just keep the peace one big happy family.

I am going little into what was reported that at your album launch that Wizzy was ignored. He was not acknowledged at the album launch.
I have to explain it. The album launch was structured in a very specific way. We used the album launch, I might add, to launch the Samsung Galaxy Brand phone by the way if you haven’t got one you might go out to get one which has my signature on it but at the album launch nobody was acknowledged because it was not one of those events where you sit down and say “Oh Don Jazzy is in the building and now we have the CEO of Samsung in the building and now you have eLDee the Don in the building who were there.

We wanted to have something that is not a typical event. Secondly from the stage, I don’t acknowledge anybody and that is not a disrespectful thing it is just the structure of the event. Wiz came in like Don Jazzy, Samsung Executives, eLDee the Don, IK, Waje, like everybody else came in and we had a fantastic event and nobody was complaining from my end but again I go back to the fact that people want to create bad news and it is exciting. Exciting for some people when Biggy and 2Pac are throwing words at each other and when Nas and Jay-Z are fighting and then people just want to create that and it is sad, really sad.

Why didn’t they write Don Jazzy came to the event and I don’t hail him? Why didn’t they write I didn’t hail any of the other EME artiste that came to the event? Why didn’t they write I didn’t hail Segun Demuren, that is my business partner. They didn’t write it because it wasn’t exciting.

A lot of people believe that what led to the rift between you and Wiz is because of the sharing formula. I just want you to clear the air on that issue.
Okay, again, I want to say about “sharing formula” again, I got back to the something I have been saying which is when you don’t give them bad news that create it. EME has the fairest recording deal in the country by far. I can go pound for pound and show you the terms that EME artistes including myself even though I own the company, have versus any other recording contract name the recording company. You don’t do that but I can beat my chest to say EME has the best recording contract in the industry, it is not just true for people to say or hint that any of my artistes are received 25 per cent. It is impossible and even you as an artiste can never sign that kind of deal so it is 100 per cent false. Part of the reason the EME deals are structured the way they are is because I am an artiste myself and when I was coming up, I was offered a lot of deals even in Nigeria that were not just but now that I’m to start up myself, I wont sign a deal with an artiste I wont be able to sign myself which I have also signed the same deal. So to cut the long story short, the report out there is 100 per cent untrue.

In fact, if you actually look at the clause that EME takes on behalf of the artistes from the day we signed until when they released their album or whenever money starts being generated, the deal is actually more in favour of the artiste than of the company but we do that because I myself just wouldn’t feel right about a record deal that won’t benefit the artiste. It is 100 per cent false again. It is just sad that some people try to create news. They don’t have the fact so they create them. However, you have to go back to the things I actually said not the things people said I said or what people said Wizzy said you know, it is just what it is.

People can say what they want, but what I tell my artistes is that Jesus Christ was perfect and he was still crucified. How much more us with all the crazy, bad messed-up things we have done in our lives and you think you are going to walk through this paths and be praised? You have to deal with the territory. You want to go on stage and people are going to cheer there are come that want to tear you down regardless.

And all you can do really is try to be a good person and try to do right by everybody God brings your way and if you do that let God take care of the rest. We are fine, we are cool, very happy with Wiz and for Wiz. That is all I have to say.

It was one bright Friday morning at Finniky Restaurant, where we were having our jaw-jaw over the many activities of Reality Entertainment, publishers of your darling newspaper, Airwaves Watch.

At first, I did not know if it was the face of the Editor-in-Chief, Kazeem Popoola, or the name, which one of the familiar faces around shouted aloud that caught the attention of this pretty lady, who sat at the far corner of the restaurant...

All I could recollect was that she walked towards our table and introduced herself to the EIC as one of the great followers of his entertainment pages in one of the daily newspapers and also quipped to have seen him on TV a couple of days back talking about a seminar and football match organized in honour of late Ambassador Olusola.

The lady requested to see Kazeem in camera. The request left me and other crew members giggling in jealousy. But when Kazeem returned, I was informed to prepare for an interview session with her the next day. As a rookie in the print media, I was nervous and ignorant of what to ask the lady. Aside that, I asked myself why an interview with somebody who is not a celebrity? Surprisingly, the 30 minutes interview with Ada (not real name) turned out to be a mind-blowing and a great lesson for aspiring broadcasters who are desperately in need of a place for Industrial Training (IT).

In this exclusive interview, the University of Ibadan Mass Communication graduate opened up on how her naiveté turned her into a sex toy for a popular Radio station general manager.

How did it happen?

(Pauses)…I have been living with this pain for quite a while and anytime I see young girls scrambling to get a place at a TV, Radio or even print media for Industrial Training (IT), I yearn to have an opportunity of sharing my experience so they could learn and act wisely. And I thank God for this medium, and I hope this will be published because all my effort in the past was frustrated. A couple of years ago, 2010 to be precise, after my 300 level in school, I was due for an IT, so I decided to come to Lagos to search for a TV or radio station where I can do the compulsory training.

I tried for some months but getting a place proved difficult. It was in the course of the search that I met this (pointing to a picture in her hand) General Manager of a popular radio station located on Island at an eatery on the mainland. I grabbed the opportunity of telling him my problem. He asked me to come over to his office the next day. I was so happy that I couldn’t hold back my joy because my instinct told me I have gotten a place for my IT.

On getting to his office the next day, I got the shock of my life when he told me point blank that I have to sleep with him before he could allow me to have the training in the station. He even put the icing on the cake with a promise to offer me a job after graduating from the university.
I initially declined his request but I eventually obliged after considering my plight and the difficulty in getting a place for the IT.

He took me to a hotel somewhere close to the station, and this later turned to our love nest. Apart from regular visits to the hotel, which he referred to as his slaughter house, we often made love in his office, car, and toilet or anywhere at any time he wanted to satisfy his sexual appetite.

It became a normal routine for me because I was enjoying it and when he later proposed that I should marry him I was very happy, not minding whether he is married or not.

If I had known that my decision would hunt me for life, I wouldn’t have done it (sobs…). At 24 years old, I have had eight abortions! Only God knows if I can bear a child in future. Anytime I missed my period, he cajoled me into having an abortion, saying it’s against his creed, which is having a child outside wedlock.

I should have seen the handwriting on the wall two months to the completion of my IT, when he instructed the security men not to allow me into the station’s premises again. I was shocked and all attempts to get him on telephone were futile. He refused to pick my calls.

Why?

I became pregnant after fifth abortion and I told him that I am keeping the baby for real.

Don’t you have a boyfriend before meeting him?

I did but dumped him after I started dating the station manager

How far with the pregnancy?

I aborted it a few months after

Did he pick your call later?

Yes, he did but I don’t know who told him that I have gotten rid of the pregnancy. We settled it and everything went on fine again, and I had three abortions for him after we reconciled. However, couple of months ago he just sent me a text that he’s no longer interested in the relationship.

It’s quite obvious that it’s lover’s affairs….

No, (Shouting…) I later found out that he has been sleeping with other IT students and some of the female staff. Why he kept me for that long beat the imagination of those in the know of our love escapade. ‘Shebi’ you are a lady? I wish you could feel my pain and what other IT students may be going through.

Would you like to revenge all what was done to you?

I believe and all I can say is “vengeance belongs to God”. I leave everything in HIS hands and allow HIM fight for me. But would like to tell every young and desperate girl out there to be careful and learn from my mistakes. I would have asked you to publish his picture and name of the station he’s working for but I don’t want to pay evil with evil. But if he refuses to change, I will be left with no option than to expose him.

What if he crawls back to you?

I don’t think so, it’s over 10 months now that we broke up and I learnt he has two kids from two women.

What are you doing at the moment?

I am currently doing my Youth Service at one of the TV stations in Lagos

Again?

(Laughs) Not what you are thinking. I am wiser now and the reason I am even talking is that victims like me increase everyday. It’s time to stop sexual abuse of young girls in both print and electronic media. This is a cause I would like to champion soon.

Jada Pinkett-Smith Defines Open Relationship For Her Marriage

Jada Pinket Smith and Will Smith have not hidden the fact that their marriage is an open one, even if in the past we were not sure what that meant for them. In a recent interview she clarified that it means "respecting that you're in a partnership, but knowing that you're an individual as well."

I am fine with that kind of an open relationship, and even polygamy as I said here. I am not an advocate, nor will I promote it, but I think the relationship with one's husband is something each woman has to make a personal decision about and not be influenced unnecessarily by those who aren't living it with them.

For me, open relationships are those in which you tell me when you begin to fall for someone else, and we can decide what to do about it. Will I give permission, probably not. 

Some may say this opens the door to cheating, but I think it promotes honesty and communication first of all, and who says there's no cheating in relationships where the parties are all jealous and possessive?

I think that cheating cuts across both genders. However, in a relationship with friendship and mutual respect, I think it is easier to make cheating a non-issue.

In the interview above on HuffPost, Jada addressed the speculation that she and Will Smith have an open marriage.

"I've always told Will, 'You can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be okay'. Because at the end of the day, Will is his own man. I'm here as his partner, but he is his own man. He has to decide who he wants to be and that's not for me to do for him. Or vice versa." 

"I don't think it's easy to be married to anyone, I think that you have to go into a relationship knowing -- especially when you're dedicating to someone for the rest of your life -- this is a life partnership ... He's my best friend. He's been by my side through some of the most difficult parts of my life. And so that's something you can never take away."

Will said in another interview. "What's helped us is being supportive, no matter what the situation is. I'm so lucky to have someone like Jada. She's really an incredible woman, wife and mother. ...she is just absolutely hardcore, like she absolutely is unfazed by the weight and the pressures of life. She is so calm and cool and easy in any situation. She can bear anything, and I just love that about her."

Now I know many people are opposed to any meaning of the word open when it comes to relationship or marriage, but do you think Jada and Will are proof that it could work?
